My appointment as a Board Member for ECG is a tough call – Edem Agbana

Legislator Eric Edem Agbaba has accepted his new role as a Board Member of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). He recognizes that this is a challenging position.

He understands they are stepping in during a difficult time for the energy sector. However, he remains optimistic about supporting the Minister in resetting ECG.

Agbaba thanked H.E. John Dramani Mahama for trusting him with this role. He noted that ECG faces many operational, structural, and financial challenges.

The sector minister, Hon. John Jinapor, has outlined their job clearly. They must support him in his mission to reset the power sector.
