NACOC intercepts 73 slabs of suspected cocaine at Swiss Port; 4 arrested

Four people were arrested after a cargo shipment was intercepted. This happened on Wednesday, April 23, at Swiss Port. The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) found seventy-three slabs of a substance believed to be cocaine.

The total weight of the suspected narcotics is about 89.74 kilograms. Authorities say the drugs were being packaged for export to the Netherlands.

This interception resulted from intelligence-led operations against drug trafficking in Ghana’s ports. The identities of the four suspects have not been disclosed yet. They are currently in NACOC custody as investigations continue.
