NCCE Director urges leaders to curb youth violence ahead of elections

Ayawaso West NCCE Director, Edem Afeeva, has called on political and community leaders to refrain from actions or rhetoric that could incite youth violence.

He emphasized that young people often mirror their leaders’ behavior, making it crucial to promote peace and national unity.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Afeeva stressed the importance of channeling youth energy into productive nation-building efforts.

He warned that election-related violence could threaten Ghana’s democratic progress and called for stronger civic education initiatives to encourage peaceful engagement.
