NDC's Ade Coker passes on

Joseph Ade Coker, former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, has died. He passed away on Saturday, May 31, at the Bank Hospital in Accra. His death followed a brief illness. The exact cause is not officially known, but family and party sources confirm it.

Ade Coker was a seasoned political figure within the NDC. He was known for his strong beliefs and vocal opinions on national issues. He served as Greater Accra Regional Chairman from 2009 until 2022. He was re-elected twice and held the position for three terms before losing to Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore.

In addition to politics, Ade Coker contributed to Ghanaian football. He served as Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association. His influence spanned both sports and governance. This earned him respect from various sectors of society.
