Constituency organisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Greater Accra are making a request. They want President John Dramani Mahama and party leaders to recognize their contributions. They seek a fair share of government appointments.
At a press conference in Accra, the organisers expressed their frustration. They feel neglected despite playing a crucial role in electoral victories. Mr. Gad Nene Ackwreh, the NDC Ada East Constituency Organiser, spoke for the group.
He urged President Mahama to address their concerns quickly. “We call on President Mahama to act immediately,” he said. He emphasized that organisers sacrificed time and energy for election success.
Mr. Ackwreh noted that their efforts helped mobilize grassroots support and voter turnout. “Without us, the organisers, they might not have received votes,” he added.
The organisers appealed to party leadership to correct this oversight. They warned that continued neglect could harm morale and party unity in the future.
