On January 4, 2025, hundreds of jubilant National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters gathered at the Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout in Accra to kick off the party’s Victory Walk, celebrating John Dramani Mahama’s win in the 2024 general elections.
The walk, which took place across all 16 regions, ended at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, where speeches and festivities followed.
Clad in red, green, white, and black, party members waved flags, chanted slogans, and bought NDC-branded items as they celebrated the victory.
The excitement will continue with the Ghana Victory Concert at Black Star Square on January 5, 2025, ahead of Mahama’s inauguration on January 7.
The NDC also announced a series of upcoming events, including a National Thanksgiving Service on January 12 at Independence Square.
