Minister of State in charge of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has refuted claims that the NDC government has an excessive number of ministers and staffers.
Speaking at a post-Cabinet briefing, he insisted that President Mahama’s administration will be the leanest in Ghana’s history.
He clarified that the total number of ministers stands at 56, significantly lower than previous administrations.
Addressing concerns about presidential staffers, he revealed there are only 30 appointees, a stark contrast to the NPP’s 336 in 2022.
He emphasized that reducing government size has saved the country millions and urged Ghanaians to disregard NPP’s claims of a bloated administration, reaffirming the NDC’s commitment to fiscal prudence and efficiency.
