The NDC’s Deputy Communication Officer, Malik Basintale, revealed that two government appointees were stopped from leaving Ghana.
This follows public calls for the incoming government to investigate corrupt practices by officials under President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Former NPP member Hopeson Adorye also claimed on social media that he is monitoring airports to prevent officials from fleeing.
He vowed to expose their alleged corruption.
Basintale echoed this stance, stating that officials would be held accountable, suggesting they could only escape "on eagle backs."
He assured Ghanaians that measures are in place, hinting at the interception of two officials already.
