A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Camillus Maalneriba-Tia Sakzeesi, has cautioned party supporters against engaging in violent activities following the party’s 2024 electoral victory.
He described the win as a result of the public’s discontent rather than solely NDC efforts, warning that ongoing disturbances could harm the party’s future prospects.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Mr. Sakzeesi advised aggrieved supporters to report grievances to security agencies instead of taking the law into their own hands.
He also lauded President Mahama’s appointments and urged supporters to prioritize national progress over personal gains.
He called for a shift from entitlement-driven demands, stressing that effective governance would benefit all Ghanaians, not just party loyalists.
