NDC to appoint new MMDCEs nationwide in two weeks – Ashie Moore

Greater Accra National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has announced that new Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) will be appointed within two weeks.

This follows President John Dramani Mahama’s decision to revoke the appointments of previous MMDCEs as part of a restructuring effort to improve local governance.

Speaking to Citi FM, Ashie Moore assured that the selection process is rigorous to ensure competent individuals are chosen. He urged party members to exercise patience and support the process, noting that nominations are currently being screened.

If all goes as planned, the newly appointed MMDCEs will assume their roles soon, advancing the party’s governance agenda.
