NDC to prioritise private sector-led Initiatives in next government, says Isaac Adongo

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) plans to prioritize private-sector initiatives if elected, aiming to reduce government involvement in business operations.

Isaac Adongo, the party’s spokesperson on the economy, highlighted that a leaner government would save resources, which could be redirected to other projects.

He defended NDC flagbearer John Mahama's 680 campaign promises, emphasizing that they are realistic and can be funded through strategies like Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and development finance.

Adongo cited successful past projects, such as the Tema Harbour and Terminal 3, as examples of effective private sector collaboration without burdening government finances.
