NDC to win in 11 regions, NPP to suffer dip in Ashanti – SBM Intelligence projects

A recent study by SBM Intelligence predicts the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will lead in 11 regions in the December 7 elections, while the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will see a slight drop in its Ashanti Region stronghold, down to 70.5% of the vote.

The NDC is expected to dominate in key swing regions but face stiff competition from the NPP in the Northern and Oti regions.

The report also notes that smaller political parties could push the election to a runoff but are unlikely to seriously challenge the NDC or NPP.
