The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to arrest former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta upon his return to Ghana on March 25, 2025.

This follows the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) confirmation that he is set to return based on a medical report from the Mayo Clinic.

Speaking on Starr News, NDC Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande emphasized the party’s commitment to holding corrupt officials accountable.

“We will arrest Ken Ofori-Atta in a ‘rumble-style’ at the airport,” he declared, accusing certain individuals of enriching themselves at the expense of Ghanaians.

He also criticized MPs allegedly involved in corruption, warning that accountability is inevitable. “Some may run, but they won’t escape. The law will take its course,” he stated, reaffirming the NDC’s mandate to pursue justice.
