The Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Amos Blessing, has called on party supporters in Ablekuma North to remain vigilant and defend their votes in the parliamentary election.

Speaking at a party vigil on February 9, he urged members to see the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) as political adversaries rather than friends.

His remarks follow an ultimatum issued by Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP Frank Annoh-Dompreh, demanding that the Electoral Commission declare the constituency’s election results. Annoh-Dompreh also warned of disruptions in Parliament if the results were not announced.

Amos Blessing criticized the police for remaining silent on the matter, insisting that NDC members must protect their votes and resist intimidation.

He emphasized that the party would do everything possible to secure the seat for its candidate, Ewurabena Aubynn.

Deputy Regional Youth Organizer Eugene Arnold echoed this stance, warning that any attempts to alter the election outcome would be met with strong resistance.

He vowed that the NDC would ensure Ablekuma North remains part of their parliamentary seats.
