Former vice presidential candidate Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has noticed the impact of the NPP's absence from power. He believes this has been felt in Ghana over the last three months.
He stated, "The only obstacle to our success would be internal division." A fragmented party cannot win elections, regardless of its Flagbearer’s strength.
Dr. Prempeh emphasized that the development of Ghana depends on the NPP. He called for party leaders to foster unity among members. They must resist any forces that seek to divide the party.
Napo, as he is known, made these remarks during a visit to Bono East Region. He thanked local party leaders for their support in the recent elections.
In a post after his visit, he shared details about his meeting with the NPP Regional Chairman and constituency chairmen in Wenchi.
He expressed gratitude for their unwavering support despite recent losses. During discussions, he stressed that a united party is crucial for victory in 2028.
He reiterated that internal division is a significant threat to success. "United, we stand tall; divided, we fall!" he declared.
Dr. Prempeh reaffirmed his commitment to uniting the NPP and working hard to reclaim power in 2028.
