NPP electoral area coordinators call for suspension of Kpando constituency executives

Some electoral coordinators of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kpando have called for the suspension of constituency executives, alleging mismanagement of election logistics and funds.

Spokesperson Lawson Awudi Gadri accused Chairman Mr. Fia Legacy Eric and others of contributing to the party’s poor 2024 election performance, where votes dropped from 3,682 in 2020 to 2,211.

He cited inadequate polling agents, poor coordination, and failure to provide sufficient meals and funds for agents on election day.

The group also demanded accountability from the parliamentary candidate and MCE, calling for transparency in election expenditures.

They urged the party’s national leadership to investigate, warning that the executives' continued stay in office threatens the NPP's future in Kpando.
