NPP postpones disciplinary hearing for Adwoa Safo

The Disciplinary Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially postponed its scheduled hearing for former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo.

Initially slated for Monday, April 7, 2025, the hearing was meant to address allegations of misconduct tied to public comments deemed damaging to party unity.

In a letter dated April 6, the committee cited “emerging scheduling adjustments and internal considerations” as reasons for the deferment.

Adwoa Safo had been summoned following an earlier invitation issued on March 24.

While a new date is yet to be confirmed, the party has assured that the matter remains active. The delay adds to growing concerns over internal cohesion as the NPP prepares for major political engagements ahead.
