NPP reinstates Nandom constituency secretary after apology

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reinstated Martin Wuoyang. He is the Nandom Constituency Secretary. This decision was made by the Upper West Regional Executive Committee.

The resolution occurred during a meeting on April 27, 2025. Wuoyang had issued a written apology and showed willingness to serve again.

His suspension resulted from a petition to the party’s Disciplinary Committee. The committee imposed sanctions against him at that time. They noted his respectful engagement and renewed commitment as reasons for his reinstatement.

A statement from the Regional NPP highlighted these points. It said, “You showed enough interest in working for the party.”

This reinstatement follows calls from former MP Kennedy Agyapong. He urged the party to lift internal suspensions and reconcile with estranged members before upcoming elections.
