NPP will reclaim power in 2028 – Dr Amin Adam

Former Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam believes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will regain power in 2028.

He stated that the party has been through this before. The NPP will reorganize and return stronger than ever.

In a social media post, he emphasized the need for unity. He said all members must work together to rebuild the party's base.

His post read, “The NPP will reclaim power in 2028 with diligent effort.” He noted that a revitalized foundation is essential for success.

Dr. Adam praised the Mike Oquaye Committee for their rebuilding efforts. Their work is crucial for regaining power from the NDC.

He highlighted the importance of constitutional amendments. These reforms should empower party members and drive victory.

One key reform is an open leadership selection process. This process must include all stakeholders who contribute to our success.

Current and former executives, MPs, and MMDCEs should be recognized in this reform. Their roles are vital for moving forward as a party.

Another important area is membership requirements for government positions. Only active members who pay dues should be appointed when in power.

Those who work hard for the party deserve rewards.

Dr. Adam called on all members to prepare for the 2028 elections.

He urged support for the 9-member Committee working on meaningful reforms. Together, they can build a stronger NPP and secure a brighter future for Ghana.
