Henry Nana Boakye, NPP’s National Organiser, has vowed to resist any attempts to involve private institutions in the Electoral Commission's (EC) work.
This follows the NDC’s call for a forensic audit of the voter register, citing irregularities that could affect the 2024 elections.
The NDC, led by Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, organized a nationwide protest on September 17, demanding a credible and transparent register.
They claim issues like unauthorized voter transfers and missing data need urgent fixing.
Nana Boakye insists the NPP will oppose outside interference in the EC's operations.
