Nana Yaa Jantuah, former General Secretary of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has strongly criticized outgoing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, describing his leadership as a grave mistake for Ghana.
Speaking on TV3, she lamented the economic hardships under his tenure, highlighting the inability of many Ghanaians to afford basic necessities, including chicken during Christmas.
Jantuah expressed outrage over Nana Addo’s self-assessment as the nation’s best president, likening his leadership to that of Nebuchadnezzar and accusing him of plunging the country into darkness.
She emphasized that the hardships are felt directly in the pockets of ordinary citizens, calling for reflection on the state of governance.
