Nexford and Constructor Universities partner to connect Ghanaians to jobs in Europe

As Europe faces a skills shortage, Nexford University and Constructor University have partnered. This partnership connects Ghana's ambitious youth with education and job opportunities in Germany.

Starting in the 2025/2026 academic year, Ghanaian students can study online at Nexford. They will then transition to Constructor’s campus in Bremen. This program provides a pathway to international credentials and access to Europe's job market.

Constructor University is a top-ranked private university in Germany. It focuses on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. The university helps students bridge research and industry gaps, equipping them for successful careers.

Nexford University is an American online institution focused on accessible education. Together, they create a seamless learning journey for Ghanaian students.

This initiative allows students to complete up to 50% of their degrees online at Nexford. Afterward, they can finish their studies at Constructor University’s Bremen campus. Students gain international exposure and hands-on experience in German industries.

Postgraduate students can earn dual master’s degrees through this program. The curriculum includes courses recognized by both institutions.

Fadl Al Tarzi, CEO of Nexford University, noted that many talented Ghanaian students face barriers to global education. High costs and complex visa processes limit their options. This partnership allows them to start building their future in Ghana before transitioning abroad.

Germany projects a shortage of seven million skilled workers by 2035. Currently, there are over 209,000 unfilled positions in STEM fields alone. Graduates from Constructor University will enter a welcoming job market.

Constructor University graduates qualify for an 18-month visa in Germany after completing the program. The curriculum aligns with European labor market demands. Currently, 78% of graduates find employment across Europe within three months of graduation.

Top employers include Accenture, Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Roche, Ringier AG, Tamedia, and UBS. These connections enhance career prospects for graduates.

The partnership also offers financial benefits for students from Ghana. They begin with affordable flat-fee tuition while studying from home. This avoids high relocation costs during the first half of their program.

Upon transferring to Constructor University, all Nexford students qualify for scholarship consideration automatically. This approach makes world-class education more accessible to Ghana's youth.

Turgut Tülü, Chancellor of Constructor University said this program combines on-campus education with online expertise effectively. It offers flexibility and employment opportunities at an affordable rate.

Graduates will be well-positioned to build careers in Europe or develop businesses connecting European and Ghanaian markets. They can also return to Ghana with valuable skills that strengthen the local economy.
