Pan-African icon and anti-corruption crusader, Prof. P.L.O. Lumumba, has reignited the spirit of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, urging Africans to abandon passive nostalgia and embrace a bold, progressive mindset.

Speaking at the University of Education, Winneba, Lumumba warned against being "imprisoned by history and lamentation," stressing that Africa’s future requires action, innovation, and courage.

“Nkrumah is dead, but Nkrumah never dies—his ideas remain evergreen,” he declared, calling on citizens to channel the visionary zeal of Ghana’s first president.

He challenged the audience to reflect deeply: “Who among you can say what I speak today wasn’t already said by Nkrumah in 1955?” Lumumba emphasized the need for an education system tailored to African realities, as once envisioned by Nkrumah.

His remarks served as a wake-up call to reject inertia and rise as architects of Africa’s next chapter.
