Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, MP for Assin South, has leveled serious allegations against the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing the party of involvement in large-scale cocaine smuggling.
Speaking on ChannelOne TV on April 5, 2025, Fordjour claimed that a recent cocaine shipment valued at over $350 million had ties to an NDC Parliamentary Candidate, with part of the shipment worth $150 million.
He further accused the NDC of turning Ghana into a drug trafficking hub, citing a recent cocaine bust mentioned by the President.
Fordjour, who has previously raised concerns about money laundering, also revealed that two aircraft were allegedly linked to drug trafficking activities.
His allegations come amidst a major cocaine seizure in March, totaling 3.3 tonnes.
