Ntim Fordjour destroying his credibility as Ranking Member – Security Analyst

Security analyst Emmanuel Kutin has accused Assin South MP, Rev. Ntim Fordjour, of damaging his credibility as the Ranking Member on Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee.

His criticism follows Fordjour’s refusal to cooperate with the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) after alleging that two aircraft transported drugs and laundered money into Ghana via the Kotoka International Airport.

On April 9, NIB operatives reportedly attempted to detain the MP at his Spintex residence, but were blocked by Minority MPs and NPP executives who cited lack of a warrant.

Speaking on The Big Issue on Channel One TV, Kutin said the MP’s approach undermines national security efforts and may hinder collaboration between the Mahama administration and the Minority.

He warned that Fordjour’s actions weaken the opposition’s oversight role, stressing that effective democracies depend on responsible, credible opposition leaders.
