O/R: Jasikan MCE commissions new CHPS compound and nurses' quarters

Mr. Parke-Davis Magyigbe is the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Jasikan. He recently commissioned a new Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in Oseikrom, Oti Region. The facility includes a 2-bedroom nurses' quarters.

The event took place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. It marks an important step in improving healthcare access for residents.

The CHPS compound was completed in just six months. It will provide essential medical services and house healthcare workers. This ensures quality care for the community.

In his speech, Magyigbe highlighted the government's commitment to better healthcare infrastructure. He also thanked Mr. Kofi Adams, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Buem Constituency. Adams has consistently supported Oseikrom’s development over the years.

MP Adams has helped improve education, infrastructure, water access, and community welfare in Oseikrom. Mr. Magyigbe encouraged the community to take ownership of the new facility. He urged them to work with health professionals to maintain it.

Local leaders, health officials, and residents attended the ceremony. They expressed gratitude for this development. The project supports the goal of universal health coverage and reduces travel burdens for rural medical services.
