Former NEIP CEO Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has criticized some NPP members for misrepresenting the party’s 2024 election performance.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, February 8, he refuted claims that the NPP secured 38%, clarifying that the Electoral Commission’s official results placed the party at 41.75% (rounded to 42%).
He accused some party members of deliberately downplaying the figures to push personal agendas. Nkansah also took aim at the opposition NDC for inflating their vote share to 57% when the official figure stood at 56.42%.
Urging NPP members to uphold accuracy, he warned against falling for misinformation that could weaken party unity.
"We must be truthful with our numbers," he stressed, calling for responsible political discourse.
