George Opare Addo, the National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused clergy members of bias in favor of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking at the launch of the NDC’s youth manifesto, he criticized religious leaders for their silence on allegations of corruption and state capture under the current administration, despite their previous outspoken support for the NPP.
Opare Addo also condemned certain civil society groups and media outlets for being complicit.
He asserted that Ghanaian youth are increasingly vigilant and determined to hold political leaders accountable for their actions, refusing to allow further exploitation.
