Police investigate clash involving Joana Gyan and Adjakaa Manso residents

The Ghana Police Service is investigating a confrontation involving Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Wassa Amenfi Central, and residents of the Adjakaa Manso community in the Western Region.

The incident occurred on Saturday, November 30, 2024, when Joana’s team encountered a vehicle obstructing the road. A dispute between her team and the vehicle’s driver escalated, drawing in some community members. The altercation left two people injured and caused damage to two vehicles.

Police have urged calm among residents and assured the public of thorough investigations to bring those responsible to justice. Investigations are ongoing to prevent further tensions in the area.
