Police seek public's help in identifying deceased found in Abelemkpe

The Ghana Police Service is asking for public help. They need assistance in identifying a male adult found dead in Abelemkpe, Accra. This incident occurred on May 23, 2025.

Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs, shared details in a statement. The deceased was discovered around 6:30 a.m. He had no identification on him.

The police describe the man as dark-complexioned and about 6 feet 4 inches tall. He had black hair and a shaved beard. At the time of discovery, he wore a red T-shirt with black and white designs.

He also wore khaki trousers, pink boxer shorts, and white socks. The Regional Police Command is leading the investigation into his death.

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward. Relatives or anyone who knows him should contact the Kotobabi Police Station. They can also call 0264162980 or 0244992201 to assist with the investigation.

The police suspect that the deceased might be a taxi driver but need further confirmation.
