President Mahama completes 'Thank You Tour' in Wa

President John Dramani Mahama thanked the chiefs and people of the Upper West Region. He spoke at a special ‘Thank You’ durbar in Wa.

Mahama appreciated their strong support in the 2024 general elections. The region showed unwavering loyalty to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The NDC won all parliamentary seats in the Upper West Region.

“Your votes delivered a resounding victory for the NDC,” he said. “Thank you for your trust and confidence.”

He promised to fulfill the party’s #ResettingGhana manifesto. Infrastructure development is a top priority under the GHS 14 billion ‘Big Push’ initiative.

The Upper West Region will see significant benefits from this plan. Key projects include the Wa-Tumu-Bolgatanga trunk road and Techiman-Wenchi-Bole-Wa-Hamile corridor.

President Mahama assured residents that his administration would work hard. They aim to bridge infrastructure gaps and create economic opportunities.

“Thank you, Upper West Region, for your unwavering support,” he concluded.
