President Mahama visits The Gambia and Senegal to strengthen regional ties

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Banjul, The Gambia, as part of a two-country visit to The Gambia and Senegal.

The trip aims to express gratitude to the Heads of State of these nations for attending his Presidential inauguration on January 7th.

The visit underscores President Mahama’s dedication to fostering strong relations with Ghana's West African neighbors.

After his engagements in The Gambia, the President is scheduled to proceed to Dakar, Senegal, and return to Ghana later today, January 17.
