Chairman of the NDC South Africa branch, Benjamin Kofi Quashie, has revealed that steps to arrest Asin South MP Rev Ntim Fordjour are nearing completion.

Speaking on JoyPrime's News Flash on April 7, Quashie stated that the process is only pending the return of Speaker Alban Bagbin, who is currently out of the country.

Rev Fordjour, also Ranking Member on Parliament's Defence and Interior Committee, had alleged at a press briefing that certain aircraft landed in Ghana for money laundering and cocaine trafficking purposes.

His claims triggered widespread reactions, prompting government denials and demands for proof.

Despite pressure mounting on Fordjour to substantiate his claims, the NPP has backed the call for a full investigation into the allegations.
