Rasheed Draman slams NPP MPs for ‘trivial questions’ during ministerial vetting

Rasheed Draman, Executive Director of ACEPA, has criticized NPP MPs for failing to hold the government accountable during the recent ministerial vetting.

Speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show, Draman highlighted their focus on trivial matters instead of examining nominees' competence, describing it as a major lapse in democratic oversight.

He urged the Appointments Committee to adopt a more effective, focused approach to ensure nominees are thoroughly scrutinized for their ability to serve Ghanaian interests.
