The People’s National Party (PNP) has petitioned President John Dramani Mahama, urging the removal of Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa as Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee.
In their petition, the PNP highlighted four major concerns, including alleged misuse of parliamentary loans, unexplained wealth, luxury travel preferences, and false accusations against a former president’s family.
The party has called for a full investigation by the Special Prosecutor into Ablakwa’s financial dealings and overall conduct.
They are urging President Mahama to revoke his appointment and take appropriate action to address the alleged misconduct.
