Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, former CEO of NEIP, has shared his views on the NPP. He believes the party needs to reorganize. This process should start with appointees and executives apologizing to grassroots members.
Nkansah claims that over the past eight years, some party leaders acted out of greed. Their actions harmed those who voted for them and worked for their success. As a result, he feels that no NPP appointee will receive strong support if they intimidate others.
His comments follow Kennedy Agyapong's call for NPP unity. Agyapong urged support for Chairman Wontumi, similar to what the NDC did in opposition.
Nkansah stated, “The greed shown by some appointees and executives was unacceptable.” He emphasized that without forgiveness, reorganization is impossible.
He encouraged honesty among party members to identify greedy individuals in power. "People will disappoint us," he said. However, we must not ignore wrongdoing due to someone's position.
