Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, has been detained by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) over allegations of possessing multiple identities.
This follows claims by North Tongu MP and Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, that Rev. Kusi Boateng used different names, passports, and identification cards in what he described as a “modus operandi.”
The controversy dates back to 2023 when Ablakwa alleged that JNS Talent Centre Ltd, linked to Boateng, received GH¢2.6 million for the National Cathedral project.
A Human Rights Court dismissed Boateng’s attempt to silence Ablakwa in July 2024.
While specific charges remain unclear, sources indicate the NIB is investigating the identity fraud allegations tied to his National Cathedral dealings.
