Sources within the party reveal that President Mahama rejected Asiedu Nketiah’s list, sparking tension among the party's executives.

Some have even visited his office to voice their dissatisfaction.

In response, Asiedu Nketiah has lodged a formal complaint with the party’s elders.

An emergency meeting involving the Council of Elders and Speaker of Parliament is set to address the issue and prevent deeper rifts.
