Sagnarigu MP calls for collaboration to improve healthcare delivery

The Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu, Atta Issah, has called for teamwork. He wants all stakeholders to improve healthcare in the municipality.

Mr. Issah spoke after cutting sod for a new maternity ward. This ward will be built at the Sagnarigu Health Center. He highlighted the need for a standard hospital in Sagnarigu.

Sagnarigu is the most urban municipality after Tamale in the Northern Region. Currently, it lacks a standard hospital. This issue concerns local leaders and Ghana Health Service directors.

Mr. Issah promised to ensure no woman dies due to lack of facilities. The Municipal Health Director praised him for reducing maternal mortality rates.

The doctor in charge of Maternity Management also commended his efforts. They believe the new maternity ward will greatly improve healthcare delivery.

Residents, especially women, are happy about this project. They feel it will help solve some healthcare challenges in their area.
