Samuel Adongo confirmed Juaben North MCE

Samuel Adongo is the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben North. He is also the 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr. Adongo received unanimous support from the assembly. All 29 members voted in favor of his nomination on May 15. His confirmation brings the total endorsed MMDCEs in the Eastern Region to 30 out of 33.

The confirmation process for Akuapem North's MCE will happen later today. The final two confirmations, for Afram Plains North and South, are set for May 16, 2025.

Eastern Regional Minister Rita Akosua Awatey expressed satisfaction with the process. She thanked all assembly members for their strong endorsement. She urged them to work together for development in the Municipality.
