Concerns have emerged over the presidency’s frequent reliance on Woezor TV for live broadcasts, with critics arguing that state-owned GBC should be prioritized instead.

However, Deputy Chief of Staff Stan Dogbe has dismissed the criticism, attributing it to NPP supporters who fear Woezor TV’s growing influence.

Dogbe asserts that GTV continues to receive extensive access under President Mahama’s administration, contrary to claims of favoritism.

He emphasized that Woezor TV’s advanced technology and strong media collaborations make it a preferred platform for broadcasting presidential events.

He further defended media partnerships, stating that multiple networks, including GTV, TV3, and JoyNews, often rely on Woezor TV for coverage.

According to Dogbe, the complaints are unfounded and politically motivated.
