Newly nominated Deputy Minister for Roads & Highways, Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, has encouraged first-term MPs to uphold integrity and remain committed to their constituents.
Speaking on 3FM, the Tamale North legislator acknowledged the challenges of parliamentary work but advised newcomers to stay open-minded and principled.
He reminded them that voters placed their trust in them and should not be let down.
Suhuyini’s call comes as Ghana’s 9th Parliament, sworn in on January 7, 2025, integrates 115 first-time MPs, bringing fresh perspectives to the legislature.
He emphasized that despite initial frustrations, dedication to national service would make the journey worthwhile.
