The Tamale Teaching Hospital has addressed claims of medical negligence.

These claims relate to the death of a patient transferred to the hospital.

On Sunday, April 20, 2024, management issued a statement.

They explained that the patient was sent for a procedure not available there.

At the time of arrival, all four ICU beds were occupied.

The hospital urged the public not to jump to conclusions.

A committee has been formed to investigate the incident thoroughly.
