Team Ken 2028: Turns Bawumia's Thank You Tour into campaign arena, agents caught sharing money and t-shirts

The NPP's ongoing Thank You Tour is led by its 2024 Presidential Candidate. Kennedy Agyapong, who lost the primaries, is part of this tour. He aims to unite former aspirants and promote party unity.

However, Agyapong's campaign team seems to have a different agenda. They are using the tour as an early personal campaign platform. From the start in the Western Region, a group dressed in "Ken" shirts cheered for him at each venue.

This organized crowd has appeared in every region visited so far. In the Ashanti Region, things became more obvious on Tuesday. A vehicle loaded with Kennedy Agyapong 2028 materials was seen inviting delegates.

They handed out t-shirts and money to attendees. Interestingly, many recipients wore Bawumia for President 2024 shirts initially. They were then given Ken's t-shirts instead.

Tensions rose when Agyapong's team tried to distribute more t-shirts at Bantama in Kumasi. Party members expressed anger over this action. They accused his team of turning the thank-you tour into a personal campaign.
