Tema Mayor holds first management meeting, rallies Assembly behind transformational agenda

The new Mayor of Tema, Madam Ebi Bright, held her first meeting with department heads. She urged them to support her vision for the city's transformation and development.

In her speech, she highlighted the urgent need for collective action. The infrastructure in Tema is currently deteriorating and needs attention. She encouraged departmental heads to take ownership of the city's challenges. Together, they can restore Tema to its former glory.

"The current state will not allow us to enjoy past glories," she said. "We must work hard and take bold steps to change this."

Her call to action is part of a larger plan. This plan aims to make Tema a model metropolis with sustainable infrastructure and better services.

Later, Ms. Bright visited the Council of Tribal Chiefs' weekly meeting. She thanked them for their wise advice and acknowledged their role in maintaining peace in Tema.
