There’s no evidence of Mahama’s involvement in CJ petition – Tanko-Computer

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has challenged the New Patriotic Party (NPP). They want evidence that President John Dramani Mahama wrote a petition. This petition seeks the removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.

The NPP's former General Secretary, John Boadu, made this claim. He alleged that Mahama wrote the petitions to replace the Chief Justice.

On May 6, Dr. Rashid Tanko-Computer spoke to Citi News about these allegations. He dismissed them as baseless and unfounded. He believes the NPP is disoriented after their poor election performance.

Dr. Tanko-Computer said, “They are telling us something we don’t know.” He suggested that when they were in power, petitions were written at Flagstaff House by Nana Akufo-Addo.

He questioned if a previous petition by Prof Kwaku Ansah was also written by Akufo-Addo. Dr. Tanko-Computer added that losing has affected the NPP’s thinking capabilities. He feels their statements no longer make sense to anyone.
