Tony Aidoo criticizes Afenyo-Markin’s behaviour, cites cognitive dissonance

Dr. Tony Aidoo, a key figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former Ghana Ambassador to the Netherlands, has sharply criticized Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin for his contradictory behaviour.

Aidoo claims Afenyo-Markin’s aggressive actions at the Appointments Committee of Parliament are at odds with his self-image as a “gentleman,” accusing him of suffering from cognitive dissonance.

Aidoo argued that the Minority Leader’s boisterous conduct stems from not realizing that his party is in the minority.

He further recounted personal experiences from his own parliamentary vetting in 2008, where he accused certain MPs of dishonorable behaviour, including making false allegations and disregarding decorum during the process.
