Vice President urges political appointees to press forward with renewed determination

Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang returned to office on May 26, 2025. She attended a meeting of political appointees at the Presidency.

The meeting included senior government members discussing President John Mahama’s transformation agenda. Chief of Staff Mr. Julius Debrah welcomed her back and expressed the team's happiness.

He praised her dedication to public service and leadership. In her speech, Vice President Opoku-Agyemang thanked everyone for their warm welcome.

She commended the appointees for their commitment to the President's vision. “I appreciate your well wishes and commend your remarkable work,” she stated.

She urged her colleagues to move forward with renewed energy and determination. Unity, purpose, and efficiency are crucial for delivering on the government's mandate.

“We must continue to press forward with purpose,” she emphasized. The task ahead is significant, but together we will succeed in rebuilding our country.
