We are still in court – Amoakohene denies claims of withdrawal over Obuasi East seat

Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has clarified that the legal battle over the Obuasi East parliamentary seat is ongoing, contrary to reports suggesting that NDC candidate Samuel Aboagye had withdrawn.

In an interview with GHone, Dr. Amoakohene emphasized that the NDC is still pursuing the case in court.

He highlighted discrepancies between the initial election results at the Obuasi East collation center and the final figures declared in Accra, which he believes were manipulated.
