Ghanaians are increasingly concerned about the health of their Vice President.
Many people worry because the government has not provided updates for weeks. Experts advised her to seek medical attention abroad.
This silence may lead to speculation and rumors, which is unhelpful.
Citizens believe they should be informed about her progress, just as they were when she fell ill.
A Facebook user named Fred Addo expressed his frustration. He wrote, “It’s been weeks and we don’t have any official update from the government about our female Vice President.”
He finds it troubling that no updates have come while the Chief Justice has been suspended. He noted that feminists in Ghana seem silent on this issue.
“Today, the only female left at the highest level of government is removed. Isn’t this disturbing?” he added.
Another user, Sagmokie Tetteh, shared similar concerns and received support in her comments section.
She stated, “Honestly, I think Ghanaians deserve an update on our Vice President. The silence allows room for rumor mongering.”
She also referenced how the UK kept its citizens informed about King Charles and Kate Middleton.
